Privacy

What we process

• Your NEAR account ID, when you connect a wallet. It is public on the blockchain. We use it to show your balances and positions, build the transactions you ask for, and look up your past trades.
• Transaction hashes of trades you sign through Pounce, with the token, side and fee. We keep them to confirm whether the swap happened and to refund the fee when it didn't.
• Preferences in your browser (local storage): filters, sort order, slippage and quick-buy amount. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
• Technical logs kept by our hosting providers (Vercel for the website, Railway for our data service): IP address, browser user agent, requested page and time, used for security and debugging.

Public blockchain data shown on Pounce (trades, holders, balances) is not personal data we collect from you; it is on-chain for everyone.

Who it is shared with

• Your wallet provider, which you choose and which has its own privacy policy.
• Services we query to build trades and show data, which may receive your public account ID: the Intear DEX router (quotes and routing), FastNEAR and NEAR RPC nodes (balances), and launchpad APIs.
• Hosting providers (Vercel, Railway) as processors for running the service.

We don't sell personal data and don't use it for advertising.

Retention

Trade records linked to your account ID are kept while Pounce operates, because they are needed for fee refunds and for your trade history. Hosting logs are kept for the providers' standard periods.

Your choices

You can use most of Pounce without connecting a wallet, and you can clear local preferences in your browser at any time. On-chain records can't be deleted by anyone. For questions or requests about data we hold, contact @pouncetrade on X (x.com/pouncetrade).
