How buybacks work
- Run monthly, in the first days of each month, using the fees collected over the previous month. Cashback is paid out at the same time.
- Bought in small slices on Rhea over several hours (about 1% price impact per slice at most) to avoid moving the price in one go.
- Burned with the token contract's own
burnmethod: the tokens are destroyed, anft_burnevent is emitted andft_total_supplygoes down. Anyone can check the current supply on-chain or on NearBlocks. - Every buyback, burn and cashback transaction will be listed on a public buyback page.
- For now the team signs these transactions by hand; automation will move into a Pounce contract later.
Buybacks and cashback are a discretionary policy of the Pounce team and may change. They are not a promise of price, returns or any right to Pounce revenue. $POUNCE is a highly volatile token.
